My list ain&#039;t hard rock stuff, but -
(in no particular order)

1. Eddie Veddar (Pearl Jam) - Just revisit TEN and listen to &quot;Alive&quot;. 

2. Jeff Buckley - that little sigh, that little breathe that kicks of his soaring rendition of Leonard Cohen&#039;s Hallelujah.

3. Thom Yorke - Little whining prick.

4. Damien Rice - Can&#039;t think of anyone else who could start a song with &quot;and so it is...&quot; and repeat the line &quot;can&#039;t take my mind off you&quot; ten million times and not ruining any second of it.

5. Neil Young - sounded so fragile when he sings about the needle and the damage done.

6. Bono.

7. Brett Anderson - Suede, Tears and now solo. Another whiner.

8. Rufus Wainwright.

9. Morrissey.
