Further research throughout the web brought more interesting things about the Spiderman Sony thing. Apparently, the typeface used is actually Mata, by Greg Samata. Designed in 1993.

Don’t you think this smells like some sort of co-branding thing Sony is trying out? Both are actually way high profiled brands. Taken the fact that Spiderman’s franchise started about 5 years ago. Sony PS3, recently. Or could this simply be another Spidey gadget?
