I thought that change was very temporial. Guitar Player is published by New Bay Media LCC while both Guitar World & Guitar One is published by Future Network USA. Other competing magazines such as Guitar Techniques & Total Guitar, Guitarist are under Future Publishing Limited London.

Catch is they seem to be stuck in the middle of the both giants.
